摄影是一种非常丰富的视觉表达手段。而今数码摄影已经取代了曾经辉煌流行的胶片摄影和传统暗房技术。这次的工作坊有两部分组成，分为学习暗房制作银盐照片和自制相机并进行针孔摄影。学员同时可以利用周中时间进行相纸冲洗，在工作坊之后还将有对外开放的相机和作品展示。

艺术家介绍：

鲍勃.圣西尔是一位加拿大摄影师，他曾任职于加拿大维多利亚大学，有丰富的艺术教学经验。他的众多作品在国际美术馆和画廊展出，包括日本法国比利时等。2010年鲍勃.圣西尔因他的摄影成就服务和对摄影的特殊贡献，被授予了加拿大摄影艺术协会枫叶奖。

Photography is a wonderful process of visual expression. Today, digital photography has mostly replaced the once popular film and wet darkroom process of image making. This workshop combines basic darkroom processing and visual exploration through pinhole photography. Students will first learn to make silver gelatin prints in traditional darkroom, an later to make your own pinhole camera. Students are encouraged to develop films during the weekday. In the end, there will be a public demonstration of your cameras and photos. (Translation will be provided.)

Artist Profile:

Bob St. Cyr is a Canadian photographer with plenty experience in art education. He has been teaching photography at the University of Victoria for many years. His work is also exhibited in Japan, France, and Belgium, etc. In 2010, Bob St. Cyr has been granted the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts (CAPA) Maple Leaf & Associate Fellowship awards for photographic achievement, service, and exceptional contributions to photography.
