“2016 集美·阿尔勒国际摄影季”专家见面会将于2016年11月21日至22日在“三影堂厦门摄影艺术中心”举行。

23位来自海内外著名的美术馆、摄影节、画廊、出版机构的策展人、出版人、摄影收藏家、摄影评论家等在摄影界具有重大影响力的专家组成强大的团队，为具有艺术才华和影像创作天赋的摄影师们提供了一对一面谈的宝贵机会。通过此次见面会，摄影师既可以得到创作上的专业意见，零距离接触摄影大师，更能与摄影圈决策者们直接对话，获得针对本人职业生涯的高水平指导，同时为成功踏入国际艺术影像市场争取到难得的自荐机会。

参与专家见面会将会对您的作品和创作思考带来非常有益的帮助，能够与专业大师进行一对一、面对面的交谈，这种机会非常难得，您也可以将这次机会作为对个人学习和作品补充的一次有效投入。参与者将有机会与策展人、图片编辑、商业代表和画廊总监独自会面，展示你们的作品并建立联系。我们建议您准备一份精心编辑的作品集，方便沟通和展示作品，您将有可能得到个人作品的收藏、展览或出版的机会。

专家见面会的每位专家名额有限，为尊重每一位参与者，确认报名之后我们无法做出调整。

Q1：专家见面会的面向群体是谁？

A：热爱摄影艺术，具有一定的摄影知识和实践能力，期待自己的摄影作品得到突破、认可甚至被收藏、展览或出版的摄影师。

Q2：报名专家见面会是否有水平限制？

A：我们欢迎广大摄影师们积极报名，并上传自己的作品样本，组委会将进行内部评审，通过审核后将电话联系参与者进行后续缴费和预约流程。我们将致力于保持现场会议的高水平。

Q3：预约成功后需要作何准备？

A：参与者缴费并预约成功后，将会获得一份关于当天会议流程的详细介绍资料。此外，我们建议您准备一份精心编辑的作品集输出样本（小样或画册；电子版请自备平板、笔记本电脑等显示设备）。每次会议限时20分钟，请提前准备一份有关您作品的简单介绍和提出问题。

Q4：如果预约的是外籍专家，现场是否有翻译协助？

A：有，现场外籍专家都将配有专业的翻译人员，无需额外缴费。

Q5：会场当天是否需要提前到场？

A：需要，请提前十分钟到场签到。由于专家见面会活动行程的安排紧凑，请确保参与者提前到达并遵照行程安排参与见面会。如因个人原因错过时间安排，可能无法再做调整，您需要自行承担。

Q6：如果被影像专家推荐，将会有怎样的收益？

A：如果您的作品获得影像专家的认可和推荐，您将有可能获得在国内／国际参展、出版，甚至与画廊签约接受代理销售作品的机会。你可以在会议结束后留下您的作品资料和联系方式，以便之后专家有合适的机会与您联系。

Photo Folio Re​​view Intro

The Photo Folio Review of the 2016 Jimei × Arles International Photo Festival will take place from November 21-22 at Three Shadows Xiamen Photography Art Centre. A total of 23 influential curators, editors, collectors, and photo critics from a range of domestic and international museums, photo festivals, galleries, publications and beyond are part of the formidable group of experts who will provide talented and creative aspiring photographers with the invaluable opportunity for face-to-face discussion. Through this Photo Folio Review, photographers have an outstanding opportunity for close contact with master photographers, direct dialogue with leaders in the field, receiving specialized feedback, high-level guidance on individual professional development, and insight on successful entry into the international commercial photography market.

Participating in the Photo Folio Review is of great benefit to your creative process and artistic production. Opportunity for dedicated, one-on-one conversation with professional photography experts is hard to come by and you can consider this a worthwhile investment in your education and evolution as an artist. Participants have the opportunity to meet independently with curators, photo editors, commercial representatives, and gallery directors, sharing their artwork and establishing contact. We recommend that you prepare a carefully edited selection or series of works, for convenience of communicating and showing, you will be more likely to get the chance of having your photography collected, exhibited, or published.

Each expert reviewer has limited availability. Out of respect to all participants, once registration has been confirmed, we're unable to accommodate changes or rescheduling.

Each participant in the 2016 Jimei × Arles International Photo Festival Photo Folio Review will receive an official certificate of participation.

Q1: Who is the Photo Folio Review geared towards?

A: Those photographers with a passion for art photography with some photographic knowledge and practical ability, who are excited to make breakthroughs in their own work, even with the possibility of having it collected, exhibited, or published.

Q2: Are there restrictions of the skill level of those who register to participate in the Photo Folio Review?

A: We welcome a wide-range of photographers to register, during which time you will be asked to upload a work sample. After clearance from the organizational committee, participants will be contacted by telephone to follow up on payment and appointment booking procedures. We are committed to maintaining the highest quality for onsite meetings.

Q3: After successful registration, what do I need to prepare?

A: After successful payment and registration, participants will receive more detailed information about the schedule for the day. Additionally, we strongly suggest that you prepare samples of selected works (prints or catalogue; bring your own electronic tablet or laptop computer if that is how you wish to display your work). Each meeting is limited to 20 minutes, please prepare a brief description of your work and be prepared to ask/answer questions.

Q4: If I do not speak the same language as the experts I am registered to meet with, will there be translation available onsite?

A: Yes, there will be specialized, individualized translation available onsite at no additional cost.

Q5: On the day of the Photo Folio Review, do I need to arrive in advance of my meetings?

A: Yes, you must arrived at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time to check in. The Photo Folio Review schedule is tightly packed, out of respect to your fellow participants and the experts, please ensure you arrive early and adhere to the meeting schedule provided. If you miss a schedule appointment due to any reason, we cannot guarantee the ability to reschedule.

Q6: What can I gain from being recommended by one of the expert reviewers?

A: If an expert reviewer enjoys your work, it could to lead to opportunities for domestic/international exhibitions, publications, even gallery or commercial representation. At the end of your meeting, we recommend leaving information about your work and a means to contact you, so that the expert reviewer can easily keep in touch with you.
